About the Session
Tips & Tricks for Successful Strategic Planning
Jenn Harrington, Consultant, Arising Collective
This is a hybrid event.
For smaller, social profit organizations, the idea of engaging in a strategic planning process may appear overwhelming and possibly unnecessary. Learn why strategic planning is important and the benefits a robust process will bring to your organization. When done right, strategic planning can strengthen relationships and deepen understanding of your mission, vision, and values. Also, a great strategic plan isn’t an end point; it’s a dynamic tool used to guide decision making and keep everyone focused on the mission of the organization. In this session I will touch on the key elements of a strategic planning process, what’s important to include, and tips and tricks for successful implementation (including communications) so that your plan remains useful and relevant over its lifetime.
