JOIN OUR EXECUTIVE

Are you passionate about raising funds for causes that are important to you and strengthening your network and local knowledge around ethical and professional fundraising? Do you want to help drive our sector forward to make it more inclusive? Then we want you to be part of our Executive!

We're recruiting new Members-at-Large who will assist other directors in keeping our dynamic organization running in accordance with our by-laws. The term of office for Executive positions is two years. Members may serve for a maximum of three consecutive terms on the Executive.

 

PAFN is completely volunteer-run, and Executive members contribute 4-8 hours per month to our organization. We meet monthly as an Executive and attend PAFN professional development and networking events. Executive members are also encouraged to serve on our Professional Development or EDI committees. All Executive members are expected to maintain a PAFN membership.

QUALITIES WE ARE SEEKING
​

PAFN is seeking Executive members who are committed to social justice, community building, and strengthening the non-profit sector in Nogojiwanong / Peterborough.

​

We know that leadership can take many forms, and we are looking for individuals who offer new ways of understanding the world and our sector. We welcome expressions of interest from people of all identities as well as all cultural, social, and financial backgrounds.

​

Here are some of the attributes we feel would make for a strong addition to our Executive, regardless of age, education, or experience:

  • A collaborative mindset, with a willingness to share ideas and contribute to group work

  • A drive to promote equity, diversity and inclusion in our sector

  • Enthusiasm for connecting with local non-profit organizations

  • A passion for community-centric fundraising
