About the Session

How tech gets me off my computer and in front of donors

Brandon Lablong, COO + VP, Development at Ve’ahavta

This is a virtual event.

In this session, we will explore how technology can be leveraged to improve efficiencies, reducing time spent on system management and allowing for more meaningful relationship-building. We will discuss the importance of assessing current inefficiencies before adopting new technology, ensuring alignment with actual needs.

Additionally, we’ll cover strategies for regularly evaluating tools, measuring their impact, and determining whether upgrades or changes are justified. Participants will also gain insights into various tools for writing, design, project management, people management, scheduling, and communication.

Objectives:

  1. Identify Inefficiencies: Conduct an audit of major time-consuming tasks to determine technology needs.

  2. Evaluate Technology Fit: Regularly assess whether current technologies still meet needs or if better alternatives exist.

  3. Measure ROI: Understand how to evaluate the impact of tools to justify investment or identify areas to scale back.

  4. Data-Driven Decision-Making: Use data insights to determine what requires immediate attention and the best tools to support decision-making.

  5. Explore Technology Solutions: Review tools that enhance efficiency across various functions, including writing, design, project management, scheduling, and communication.
