Meet Phuc (paris)

Phuc (Paris) started her career in fundraising with the New Canadians Centre in 2020. She believes in making a difference with small acts of kindness and appreciates the support from our community partners.

Paris brings a diverse range of experiences from her work in Vietnam:

• Research Assistant, 

• English as a Second Language Teacher, 

• Conference Interpreter

 

and in Canada:

• Served the Peterborough and Northumberland regions as an Occupational Therapist Assistant and Physiotherapist Assistant; 

• Worked with deaf people with disabilities at an agency in Peterborough; 

• Worked with youth at risk at a group home in Peterborough; 

• And facilitated practical labs for occupational therapist assistant and physiotherapist students at Fleming College

She hopes to continue fulfilling her goals of promoting inclusivity and diversity in fund development and philanthropy through her work and volunteering at PAFN:

• As Treasurer

• Member of the Professional Development Committee

• Secretary of the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
