Meet elizabeth
With over two decades of experience in communications, Elizabeth Mitkos-Palermo is a storyteller at heart, now leading communications and capital campaigns for mission-driven organizations in the arts and social services as a consultant at The Dennis Group. She is deeply committed to helping nonprofits achieve their goals and create meaningful change. Passionate about gender equality, and food, housing, and climate justice, Elizabeth has volunteered with organizations like the Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre, The David Suzuki Foundation, The United Way, and World Literacy of Canada.

Elizabeth holds an Honours Bachelor of Journalism from Toronto Metropolitan University and a Professional Certificate in Not-For-Profit Management from Western University. She finds balance in yoga, Qi Gong, kayaking, herbalism, and reading by the lake. Elizabeth lives with her family on the treaty and traditional territory of the Michi Saagiig Anishnaabeg in Nogojiwanong-Peterborough.
