With the Ontario government’s announcement of a $200 rebate for eligible adults and children under 18, the Peterborough and Area Fundraisers Network (PAFN) and local non-profits are encouraging residents to donate their rebate to support vital community charities, especially with the federal extension of the 2024 charitable donation deadline to February 28, 2025.

The Peterborough Fundraisers Network (PAFN) is encouraging the community to not only support local this holiday season but to support local charities too.

In a new initiative, the PAFN and the Peterborough Public Library have partnered to give local charities free access to Grant Connect’s Community Edition, a database of funders across the country developed by Imagine Canada.
